"All right," Mozenrath resolved. "We have to decide who our recon parties are, assign them a direction, and establish a home base to return to once we've found out more. Personally, I would rather team up with you and head in whatever direction Candy is NOT going."

Personally, I would rather team up with you and head in whatever direction Candy is NOT going." "Fine by me" Clayton said, truth to be told, while his animosity towards Mozenrath was lessened during their team up against Negaduck, that didn´t removed the possibility of another rant from the magicfolk. While Candy´s final form was powerful, his chats about his kingdom were a bit odd, besides if he was the brawns of the team...The better option would have to be teaming up with the brains "I guess if the professor doesn´t minds I could tag along with him"
Sure, Ratigan was a small rational animal, but there were no doubts his intellect could paralel the detective from Baker Street back in his world, besides, considering Negaduck was a talking animal, sure he rodent would have somewhat better knowledge of what to expect on this world.

Ratigan considered Clayton's offer. He hadn't really spent much time with the hunter, but so far he seemed to have a good head on his shoulders. Compared to the rest of them, he seemed like on of the more favorable options. While Mozenrath's magic was useful to him, he had to admit, the boy's arrogance was getting on his nerves. Davy Jones as well, seemed the same as Clayton, although his unique form would probably make him stand out, amongst everyone else. And as for Candy…no. Absolutely not! Even if they were on better terms, he refused to work next to him. Arrogance he could handle. Stupidity he could not.
And so it was, that the Professor made his decision. "Well, I could use a fellow intellectual and an extra pair of muscles, should we run into any danger. Very well, let us join forces."

"Jones?" Mozenrath posed. "Which way?"
Usually, he would have no problems taking the lead, but it really didn't matter here - nobody had any idea where they were going, so he might as well tag along wherever Davy wanted to go for now and take control of the party later if he got an idea.

Jones looked over the city, trying to decide on the direction in which they should go. One particular landmark caught his eye. It was a group of tall buildings clustered together in the center of the city, that towered over every other building in the area. These towers appeared to be the central structures around which the rest of the city was built, and seemed as good a place as any to begin their exploration.
"I say we head towards those towers for now," Davy said, pointing his sword at the buildings. "We'll see what we can find there." He chose to leave it up to the others to decide where they wished to go. However, as Mozenrath had pointed out earlier, they were still in need of a home base, and Jones was well aware of that. His gaze turned towards the bridge he had noticed earlier. A structure that large would be hard to miss no matter where they were in the city. It would do for now, until they could find something more permanent. "I suggest we meet back at that bridge at sundown," he said, turning towards the others again.

With the group splitting up, King Candy was looking for someone else to travel with. Mozenrath and Professor Ratigan didn't like him, so his best options would be Clayton and Davy Jones. Except Davy was teaming up with Mozenrath, and Clayton with Ratigan. That left King Candy on his own. While being on his own could leave him at a disadvantage, he could see it as an opportunity to explore freely, without anyone nagging at him and dragging him down. Then he saw Davy Jones pointing at a bridge. He noticed a pair of small towers at the bridge. A good hideout, for the time being. This gave him an idea. "I could secure that bridge, while you guys explore other parts of the city. How does that sound?"

"This sounds solid," Mozenrath said with a nod. "I'll go along with it."
The unspoken for now hung heavy in the air.
He did appreciate Jones' choice, though. The cluster he'd picked seemed almost like a castle. And the castle was the hub of any kingdom.
[OOC: I AM SORRY BUT I HOPE WE TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF THE FACT THAT WE ARE RECONVENING RIGHT UNDER DARKWING'S HIDEOUT]

Jones nodded. Candy's plan to secure their potential base was a sound one. If there were any dangers lurking there, it would be best that Candy dealt with them first. And if Candy fell to said dangers, the rest of the group would likely be alerted by his absence, so it wouldn't be much of a loss either way.
"In that case, let us be off," Jones said to Mozenrath, placing his sword back in his belt. He then turned towards Ratigan, Clayton, and Candy. "Best of luck to the rest of you," he said. With that, he began walking towards the towers, expecting that Mozenrath would soon follow.

Xerxes flitted to catch up. "Now," Mozenrath muttered, "let's see what we can see."

As everyone headed out to their respective destinations, King Candy headed for the bridge. As he came closer to the towers, he began inspecting them carefully, looking for an entrance. After his inspection, he decided to enter the towers from above. He transformed into his Cy-Bug form and flew to the top of the towers.
(OOC: It's been a while since I've seen Darkwing Duck. I can't remember if Darkwing Duck's hideout had any entrances on the ground floor. Therefore, I'm letting King Candy enter the towers like this.)

Perhaps, we might learn some more about this world. Maybe even, find a few allies as well." Ratigan agreed, to Clayton's suggestion, thinking it as a good enough plan to start with. (OOC: I think you might've meant to say Ratigan in that sentence XD ).

"Indeed. This is his world after all." Ratigan muttered in response, as he followed the hunter.

The Phantom Blot moved away from the finderscope, having seen enough. "Ah... very interesting. What a strange looking circus that has emerged onto the stage." Leaping out of his chair, the super villain began to pace around his base, hand on chin in contemplation. "But this presents a very dire problem indeed... these newcomers don't appear heroic in any sort, so that can only mean one thing: competition! As if I need any more no-good-doers mucking up my plans for St. Canard, I haven't even figured out any sort of plan with the ones already living here! Bah!" The Blot slammed his foot on the ground. What a chore these new foes will be. And why'd there have to be so many of them? That's not fair in the slightest! "... Ah... we're all villains here. There's no such thing as a fair fight, now is there?" Just then, an idea hit the Blot. "So, it's a battle of numbers, is it? Well then, it's a good thing I have friends in very low places!" The Phantom Blot made his way back over to his desk, finding a classic rotary dial telephone. Holding the handset, he began rotating the dial. Hopefully the old crone or one of her dope sons would pick up the other end of the line. He hopped onto his chair and waited. Surely, if he could bust out of his tacky jail cell, so too could Ma Beagle and the Beagle Boys .
