"I WANT HIS INTESTINES RIPPED OUT AND FED TO HIM," Mozenrath growled, still under the truth serum's influence and therefore lacking a filter even more than usual.

"Very well", Jones said, a sadistic grin spreading across his face. With that, he turned back to the imposter, grabbing him by the neck with his claw to keep him from escaping. "Tell me, Negaduck," he snarled as he prepared to plunge the sword into his chest. "Do you fear death?"

Varian was a bit shocked to see Mozenrath use magic to drink the potion, but it did speed thing along. "Alright. Are you-" Mozenrath already cut Varian off before he could ask his questions.
Though once Mozenrath was done talking, Varian had to cover his mouth to suppress a chuckle. It was hard to imagine the violent and mighty Mozenrath have a crush on anyone. Hopefully Mozenrath didn't notice.
Once that akward situation was dealt with, now came the more pressing matter of dealing with Negaduck. Everyone else seemed eager to kill him, Davy jones especially. But before Davy could have his way, Varian spoke out. "As tempting as killing him is, maybe we should wait and see what he has to offer. Negaduck here does seem to have knowledge about teleporting to other worlds! So maybe he has more useful info too. So I say we keep him alive and lock him up for now...But that doesn't mean we can't have some payback for that battle first!"
Varian said before pulling out a strange contraption that looked like a sword but had wires attached that seemed to help make it glow and buzz like a machine. Varian handed the odd looking sword to Davy Jones. "Why don't you use this? It doesn't really cut through things like a regular sword, but it can give your foes some very nasty shocks!"

"See," Mozenrath told Varian, "I was going to berate you for taking the less violent route, but this sounds like it will hurt him more in the long run and let him survive to feel it, and for that, I have to commend you. It's times like these I really do think of you as the younger sibling I never - "
He bit down on the leather covering his right hand to keep from talking too much yet again. Though it seemed the worst of it was out.

Negaduck begins laughing as his actual voice is coming through, although still has Mozenrath's body. "Did you all think you actually won? I was nothing more than decoy a clone rather, keeping all of you distracted here while the real Negaduck is right now construction his teleporter." In a turn of events, 'Negaduck' phase the sword that was stabbed in his stomach and instead rather regular blood, he bleed out ink.
"Perhaps I should start begin explaining when this happened. Right before Negaduck was supposedly crashed underneath the rocks, the crystal reacted to halt time itself, only for a short while. It took him a brief moment to notice his surrounding and of course he has to act quickly. He gathered up all the necessary parts he needed as well taking certain 'books' from the Archive & all back to his hideout, The Storage. Before Negaduck begins working on his teleporter, he knew he needed much time, so using the magic he drained from the crystal & thus created an exact clone of himself, dubbing me 'InkNegaduck'. He begins working on his teleport and explaining which worlds he plans to visit first and began his conquest like he previously done with the Negaverse. Negaduck hasn't exactly pinpoint which destination yet, but he been talking about takeover St. Canard, gather himself a new army, and finally defeat Darkwing Duck." InkNegaduck explained just about the whole story, which may or not result giving everyone a headache or confused.
"Anyway, he sended me back to the exact spot in the Gardens as time unfroze itself and the rocks landed on top of me, and here we are. And not before me snatch off this crystal off of him unnoticed. Negaduck already drained most of the magic into him, so it holds no value to him anymore." InkNegaduck sat down on a chair as he shifts back into his original body, which ironically looks identity to Negaduck's and pulls out the crystal, which has almost little to none magical energy left.

"…well, isn't that…very contrived." Ratigan, had to admit, he did not see that one coming. Mostly due to how ridiculous it all sounded. If it hadn't been for the ink, he would've thought this all to be some last minute nonsense, to throw everyone off guard. At least now, that the crystal was de powered, it would mean no more ridiculous surprises… "Well, now that we've got that sorted out, I say we kill this copy and pay our elusive mallard a visit in the Storage. Any objections?"

Varian's eye twitched with rage after hearing Ink Negaduck's story. This was one of the reasons he detested magic. There was no logic or sound reason to it. Just chaos and confusion! Much like Rapunzel's magic hair that somehow defeated his army of automatons. It made him furious thinnking about how magic could defeat his well calculated plans.
Varian marched over towards where he left his staff. Once he picked it up, he screamed and charged at Ink Negaduck. The one who was once the most calm and logical in the group now filled with rage swung his staff at the imposter to begin pummeling him!

“Do what you must, however I do want propose” Before Ink Negaduck could even finish what he was going to say, Varian in rage starts swinging his staff and pounding into the inky mallard. Ink Negaduck took in the first couple of swings, until he created a basic staff solidarity from his own ink body and blocked the next swing. “Could you at least listen what I have to say?” Ink Negaduck tried to reason with Varian, but the alchemist has so much hatred in eyes & clouds his judgement, reasoning with him at this point might be useless.”

Mozenrath gaped.
Then he voiced what was on his mind: "You know, I once read a legend about a parallel worldline in which seven forces of light and thirteen of darkness had to converge in order to bring about the destruction of the universe and the creation of a new one. At the time, I thought that particular legend had the highest level of CAMEL DUNG I had ever read. THIS ONE, HOWEVER, TAKES THE HALVA."

Varian looked even more angry and annoyed as the inky monster formed it's own staff in defense. Once again, the magic just seemingly throwing all rules and logic out the window. Varian could hardly believe all this trouble came from ONE little crystal. "OH COME ON! Enough of this nonsense! I don't care about what you have to say, cause you just admitted your a decoy! So this is just another trick to distract us! Now just shut up and die already." Varian said as he tried to take another few swings at it, though it did seem skilled enough to block him. Only his allies might be able to turn the battle unless they actually chose to listen to this ink copy.

At first, Jones listened in confusion as the Ink Negaduck explained his story. However, as it became clear was exactly Ink Negaduck was saying, his confusion quickly gave way to anger. So the person they had come to kill, who they had spent quite a bit of time interrogating and trying to determine whether or not he was the person they were looking for, wasn't even the person they were looking for. This creature had succeeded in playing them all for fools and wasting their time. When the rat suggested that they kill the clone, Jones was more than happy to oblige. However, it seemed that Varian of all people beat him to the punch, as, in a surprising act that seemed uncharacteristic of the alchemist, Varian began to angrily beat Negaduck with his staff. To tell the truth, Jones was impressed by Varian's violent display. It seemed he and Varian were indeed quite alike. He would have been content to stay back and let Varian finish the job. However, when it seemed that the irritating creature was managing to defend itself, Jones decided to step in to aid his ally. Still holding the sword-like contraption Varian had given him earlier, Davy jabbed it into Ink Negaduck's neck, hoping to give the creature a shock that would allow Varian the opportunity to finish it off.

With a growl, Mozenrath surged forth, palm of his right hand pointed directly outward.
An electric beam shot from his gauntlet directly toward the ink-beast, hot and momentous enough to boil any liquid it came into contact with.

While everyone was more than eager to jump onto the kill the Ink Duck train, Ratigan simply stood by and watched as the chaos unfolded, deciding only to come in, should things turn south. No need to get ink stains all over him.

Post by The Horned King on Feb 24, 2020 21:37:38 GMT
In listening to the long-winded and convoluted explanation by Negaduck's inky counterpart, the Horned King found himself in a rare instance of dazed carelessness. The murky fouled magical double's words were overly complicated and inane - even his former green lackey's bumbling antics weren't this grating at giving the lich a near headache.
All the same, with Mozenrath's crystal nearly drained (as far as the inky double's words can be believed...) and his existence worth next to nothing at this point, the king felt it prudent to advise the others to not even bother with this version of their fowl-turned-foe. But with Varian, Jones, and Mozenrath on the warpath against him, there was little the lich could do outside of a full on paralysis spell - an act that would surely cause more harm than good.
On the off chance the three failed to incapacitate the cretin, the Horned King remained stationed at the doorway of the lab, so that no one would be getting out.
Lest they go through him.
[OOC: Apologies in responses lately, been working like mad recently with a big change happening soon. Hopefully will be more consistent from now on!]
