Negaduck or rather 'Mozenrath' began coughing as Varian dissolves the goo thanks to his homemade spary and Negaduck falls face down. Afterwards, Negaduck stands up and brushing him before give 'his' explanation and update.
"Yes well *ahem* I didn't think I'll fall into one, but that doesn't matter because I happen to have some breaking news. I have officially called off the pursuit for Negaduck & the reasoning is between us two ATM, I personally killed him! I tracked him down near the cliffs outside the Dark Kingdom's Castle, I demanded my crystal back, and you know what said? "Over my dead body !"
"And so we both clash it was my magic against the duck and his 'toys', by the end I retrieved what was rightfully mine, the crystal within my possession once again, & would you believe it, Negaduck was begging for help. He asked me to pull him up, but of course I wasn't stupid enough to fall for his mind games, so I destroyed the cliff he was holding onto and well let's say he's swimming in the Underworld by now." Negaduck/Mozenrath finished his story & telling Negaduck's Supposed 'Death' as he took a bite from an apple displayed in a fruit bowl.

Something was off, but for now Varian decided to play along. "I bet he must have screamed at the top of his lungs as he fell down."
Meanwhile, Ruddiger was near the hole, listening as it sounded like something was digging up.

"Yup yup yup, but you know as insane & violent Negaduck was, he would've been fun having around. And if you require evidence he'll truly gone, here's a ruffle of feathers I pulled some off of him." Negaduck/Mozenrath reached into his pocket and dumps a small pile of white feathers to the table. "Ohh and there's one more thing he mentioned to me before he dropped off. He was working on some 'secret' project called 'teleporter', he enlisted Ratigan to gather all the parts needed and sent the rat directly to you. So here's what I'm proposing; We finish the project Negaduck was working on for ourselves instead & then I... er I mean we can travel to any world we liked. So what do you say about the idea?" 'Mozenrath' proposed an deal with Varian, but reality Negaduck wanted him to do all the hard work without realizing Varian was talking to Negaduck the whole time. "This is going too easy so far, I get the twerp working for me, spread false news about my demise, and then once my Teleporter is finished, I'll take full credit and make my getaway! *Evil chuckle* What could possibly go wrong?" Negaduck thoughts to himself about his latest scheme and awaits for his answer. |

He knew way too much about the teleporter. Even if Negaduck had told Mozenrath about the project as some way to bribe him, Varain doubted Negaduck would have told him that Ratigan was working with Negaduck and asked him to build it. Only person who could have know this much about it would have been Negaduck himself. If that crystal could turn him into a giant monster, it might just make him able to make him look like others. Though there was one sure fire way to find out. "Well don't worry about it. I was gonna finish that project with or without Negaduck. It would be a good tool for the alliance to use. But that project's still gonna take some time to build. But we can worry about that later. You must be exhausted after that battle and finishing off the traitor. Here, why don't I get you a drink. Varian said as he went to the back of the lab and poured a glass of water. Though he stealthily poured in a teeny tiny drop from his truth serum into the water. It made the water purple for a second before clearing up and looking like regular water again. This would prove once and for all whether this really was Mozenrath or Negaduck with just one sip. "Here you go Moz. Something refreshing to cool you off after the battle. Now why don't you tell me more about how you defeated Negaduck. He must have put up one heck of a fight before you finished him off." Varain said as he waited to see if Negaduck would take the bait. |

Just then, King Candy, disguised as Turbo, came out of the other end of the chasm, which turned out to be in the laboratory. He had hoped to find Negaduck here, but instead he saw Varian, Mozenrath, and a squirrel. He didn't expect to see a squirrel in this castle, so right now, he turned his attention to the squirrel. "Hi there, little guy." (OOC: Varian, feel free to make Ruddiger do to Turbo whatever you want) |

Negaduck gave a rather suspicious eyebrow raise when Varian generosity offered a glass of water, but assuming this might be bait,Negaduck slides the glass away from him. "I do appreciate the offer, but I'm not quite thirsty. Besides I still need to inform the others that the hunt for Negaduck is called off. You should probably head back to sleep now after a long stressful day. On that note, I bid you adieu." Negaduck said his good nights to Varian for awhile and just as soon as he grabbed onto the door handles to leave the Laboratory, only for Negaduck get slammed by the door's force to the wall. (OOC: Think of the scene from first Aladdin film when Jafar gets slammed to the wall during Prince Ali musical bit. That's what I was going for Negaduck/Mozenrath.) |

Bursting through the door he'd just thrown open, Mozenrath barked, "VARIAN! We don't have much time. Negaduck may think he's safe for now, but the minute I get a locator spell worked up...he is roast duck."

Ruddiger was a bit startled by the strange candy colored fellow. While he didn't seem as bad as the others at first, Ruddiger knew that he could become big and scary after seeing him change the first time they all met. He seemed good now, but Ruddiger decided to slowly back away just to be safe.
Meanwhile, Varian was a bit disappointed that "Mozenrath" didn't fall for the potion trick. Seems it wouldn't be as easy as getting these people to try his potion like it was with the cookies. But fate intervened and proved he was right after all, when another Mozenrath suddenly burst through the door.
Even though Varian suspected the truth about Negaduck posing as Mozenrath, it was still a bit of a shock seeing two of them. After a brief moment of staring at the Mozenrath who busted into the room, Varian spoke. "Ya, I don't think you'll need that spell." Varian pointed towards the door where the fake Mozenrath was.

"What - " Mozenrath swung back the door to see an exact duplicate of himself there, albeit somewhat smashed. "Oh. Oh, now this is just the DATE ON TOP OF THE SHOLEZARD!"
He pointed his right index finger to the duplicate's chin. "I know it's you," he growled, "and you're going to pay for EVERYTHING."

The professor entered soon afterwards, though slightly winded from having to catch up to the wizard. After catching his breath however, he turned to look where the others were pointing at…to discover a second Mozenrath. "All right, this us just getting absurd! How many powers, can one crystal hold?!" The professor grumbled, as he rubbed his temples in frustrations. So far, the crystal had turned Negaduck into a multi-elemental behemoth, helped him survive the rockfall and now turned him into Mozenrath. Before they knew it, it would probably teleport them into a whole new world.

Having lagged slightly behind the others, Jones approached the doorway of the laboratory. However, he was immediately greeted by the sounds of Mozenrath's angry exclamations from inside the lab. Drawing his sword, Davy entered the room. Upon entering, he noticed that Varian was also there. He had little time to acknowledge the alchemist, however, as his attention was immediately drawn to the object of the sorcerer's rage: the somewhat surprising sight of a second Mozenrath. It wasn't exactly what he had expected to see (while he had encountered shapeshifters before, he hadn't been aware that Negaduck was one), but he got over his surprise extremely quickly, and pointed his sword at the throat of the false Mozenrath. "I take it this is the person you're looking for, Mozenrath?"

“Don’t be duped by his smooth tone, of course I’m the real Mozenrath and this imposter is really Negaduck. If anything you should be pointing that sword towards him!”
Negaduck thinking quick on his feet and mislead those not completely certain by pointing his index finger towards the actual Mozenrath is ‘Negaduck’.
