(I'm going to assume, that Negaduck left some blueprints or notes, at the very least his book on teleporters, behind before leaving. Just to make things easier)
"Well, here we are again, I suppose," Ratigan said with a small chuckle, as he reentered the Archive, with Varian close by. "Now just wait a moment, while I fish out his notes." It took Ratigan a while, to find where Negaduck had hidden his notes on the teleporter. Say what you would about him, but at the least he knew, not to leave details about his plans in the open. After a small amount of work though, he managed to find his book on teleportation, hidden underneath some of the couch cushions, the rest no doubt being kept by Negaduck himself, and soon fished them out, for Varian to see. "So, my good friend, is this along the lines of what you're looking for?"

I'll wait til he confirms or not.)

And what he saw was fascinating! It was beyond anything he had ever seen before, even the automatons. Though it seemed like there were still some missing pieces of information. "Are you sure this is everything? What's here is impressive, but not a complete blueprint." Varian scratched his chin as he was deep in thought examining these blueprints.

I think I'll study it for a bit and see if the portal is still possible. Of course, I still have my other projects to work on first before I can start this teleporter too. Of course, if I get a helping hand or two, then I get get to work on the teleporter faster." Varian tried to hide his smirk as he suspected he could get Ratigan to help with the automatons if he played his cards right.

Varian tried to hide his smirk as he suspected he could get Ratigan to help with the automatons if he played his cards right. Ratigan wasn't born yesterday. He caught Varian's implications and knew, what he was attempting. Rather sneaky, for a supposed young villain. He was almost impressed. Though, this hidden proposal had Ratigan, at a bit of a crossroads. On the one hand, if he did led a helping paw wit Varian's "automaton," it would not only deep their partnership, making him more trustworthy, but the boy could get to work on the teleporter, much sooner than expected. On the other hand though, Ratigan, loathed the idea of having to do ideal labour, for the benefit of others. That's what the help was for! And if he played along, his all ready low reputation would take a rather nasty hit. But alas, he was at a disadvantage. He still his mouse size, he seriously needed to find that Mozenrath fellow again, and among humans much more powerful than him, he wouldn't stand a chance. It was one of the only thing, that kept him as civil as he currently was. He had fallen far, form his Napoleon of Crime status, and wasn't going to rest, until he could find a way to climb back up. After giving it some thought, he ultimately decided to bite his bite, and play along for the time being. While he loathed having to lower himself, to doing henchmen work, like that of the miserable Flaversham, he knew that the spoils would be worth it in the end. And besides, he hadn't become the Greatest Criminal Mastermind overnight. He too had to get his hands dirty, to get where he was now. It would seem, he'd have to do so again. "Well, that certainly is a very appealing proposal, my boy. If it'll help you, to get to work a little faster, then I'm sure I could make time to lend a hand or two, to your many projects." And, perhaps learn how they work, from the inside out. That could be useful later. If nothing else, he would get a better idea, of Varian's inner workings.

Admitedly all I really need are more supplies. The lab Maleficent provided me with is decent start, but I'm going to need more chemicals and metal to get things done around here. I figured since you are a criminal mastermind, you might be the right guy to help me get what I need. Like more metal for an invention called the Automaton." Varian pulled out a blueprint of the automaton to Ratigan and pause let Ratigan take a good look at his blueprints. Varian was curious to see if the criminal mastermind was a smart as he said and comprehended the basic aspects of the automaton.

Varian was curious to see if the criminal mastermind was a smart as he said and comprehended the basic aspects of the automaton. So, all he needed was some Metal & chemicals eh? That should be easy enough. He was sure he could find plenty of that in the Storage, and with some excess metal around the castle. Though, carrying it would be a different matter. Given his size, it would be far too hectic & time consuming, to carry by himself (maybe, he could convince Clayton or Negaduck to help with the labour). Looking over Varian's design, Ratigan was able to piece together rather decently. While he lacked the mechanical know how of Flaversham, he could piece together how the so-called Automaton worked and how to put it together. It looked like a very useful machine. Much more advanced, that many of the things in his home world. Though, not unachievable. Perhaps, if he could find a way to copy the blueprints, he could be looking at armory of these things back home.… "Is that all you need? I should be able, to find some metal around here. The Storage could be a good place, to start looking. Very well. I'll see what I can find."

Isn't Ratigan human sized thanks to Maleficent's magic when she summoned him to the castle?)

I've been planing to make him big at some point, and so far the plan is to have him, gain this through Mozenrath. But I've forgotten to follow up on it, so he's still rat size right now. Maybe, I can have Ratigan take a detour on his way to the storage, and reunite with Mozie, who can change his height?)

"Oh yes this will be very useful. Plus if...when we do get this teleporter up an running, I'm sure it'll be useful to teleport a few automatons ahead of us." Varian said as he imagine catching Corona completely off guard with his new and improved automaton army and teleporter. "Of course, since it is difficult for you to help, I think I might have something you might like." Varian said as he held the potion he used to make Ruddiger a giant. "This potion can make you bigger, only thing we need is something to stabilize the formula...you know, just to make sure you don't turn into a wild feral monster."
