Backstory:
Before he was Flintheart Glomgold, Duke Baloney was a simple South African shoeshine boy, working tirelessly in the streets, struggling to gain a living. However everything would change, when he ended up shining the shoes of one Scrooge McDuck. After finishing his work, the rich duck tried to inspire the young lad, by paying him one American dime, just as he was inspired in his youth. Duke, however, felt extremely cheated and underpaid by the gesture, and decided to steal some of Scrooges money as revenge. On that day, the innocent Duke turned into the cruel Flintheart Glomgold, and wowed to surpass the miser in everything from his wealth, to his Scottishness.
Since then, the two billionaires have been locked in a constant, though often one sided, rivalry. This year alone, Glomgold has experienced many ups and downs, including briefly losing his memory, and then later his company, to helping Earth defeat the Moonlanders, becoming something of a hero. But, the mad duck still continues to try and out do Scrooge, leading him to go St. Canard in order to purchase a new business for his company. Little did he know, what would be waiting for him there.
