Oogie Boogie's Story:

HalloweenTown is home to many scary monsters, but the residents of this Holiday world are not as scary as them seem and merely scare people in good fun. All except one. Oogie Boogie was infamously the one monster in Halloweentown who not only scared but also harmed innocent creatures. Oogie Boogie once lead an army of creepy crawly critters in an attempt to take over Halloweentown and create his own Holiday. But he and his armies were defeated by Jack Skellington the Pumpkin King, and he was banished to never leave his lair.

Yet even while banished from town, he could still cause trouble thanks to his three minions, Shock, Lock, and Barrel who brought him victims to torment and creatures for him to devour. And one day, these three mischievous trick or treaters brought him someone special. The trio had kidnapped Santa Claus and secretly brought him to Oogie Boogie's lair where he took great delight in tormenting Santa. Soon when he got bored with Santa, he attempted to kill him and dip him in a pit of lava along with Sally the rag doll woman. Though his attempts to kill them were thwarted by Jack Skellington who was able to avoid Oogie's deadly traps and eventually tear the burlap sack that held all the bugs together. With many melting into the lava pit trap, and the bug controlling all the others was squashed by old St. Nick. That seemed to be the end of Oogie, but he eventually returned more powerful than before...

Years after his second defeat at the hands of Jack Skellington, Lock, Shock, and Barrel managed to bring back their boss by assembling some of the bugs that were part of the original Ooogie Boogie, along with hundred of new creepy cirtters, and then placed them all in a new sack to unite them all into the new Oogie Boogie. One who still had a score to settle with Jack. And with Jack going away on a long journey to explore the world in order to find new scares, he managed to take over HalloweenTown by taking control of one of HalloweenTown's smartest person and then tricking the other residents into building a terrifying robot army. With his new army, he nearly took control of all the other Holidays until Jack returned and managed to triumph over Oogie once again with help from Dr. Finklestien's new invention the Soul Robber and some help from his friends.

Though once again, thanks to Maleficent, this sack of bugs has cheated death and schemes to get his revenge and terrorize all who oppose him...
