"That is a way of putting it." Facilier told him with a slight smirk. He wouldn't let McLeach on what they were right away but he had no qualms in killing either Naveen or Tiana this time around. If they had just stayed put he would have let them happily hop around the swamp with neither a worry nor care but now... now they were going to end up in a fancy restaurant served as Frog Legs. "In due time I will tell you more about it. That is when Maleficent is ready to move our plan to the next stage." he simply remarked as he now smiled putting a card face down before turning it around revealing two frogs in a cage by now as he smirked. "It is just a possible future I'm interested in chasing in due time." Taking one last look at the calling card in his hand, McLeach finally pocketed it into his coat's inside pocket and sat back in his chair, holding his hands together. "I'll take your word on it, then," he decided, being serious for a moment. "I'll admit that, with most jobs I get, I usually expect a payment of some sort. Poachin' is still a business, you know, and it's important to have money so I can afford the bare necessities of life. But, now that I'm here, a decent chunk of what I would usually need money for is being provided freely by the hosts of this castle. It's interesting to already have practically everything I need. And, if I were dumber, I'd already call my retirement here." He leaned forward onto the table, looking Facilier in the eyes. "But I ain't a fool," he continued. "I know that being lazy in a base full of powerful beings is going to get me killed...and I'm willing to pull my own weight. And it certainly wouldn't hurt to have a higher-up I can actually trust for once to help me out as much as I will be helping them just in case plans go astray. So consider yourself a deal: I'll help you out, within reason, with anything I can do...in exchange for some sort of security from the others just in case things happen." And then, probably to Facilier's delight, McLeach extended his hand out for a handshake. "Sound fair?" Facilier let out a chuckle as he didn't expect this turn of events. Usually it was he who was the one who laid the deal on the table but here was someone who wanted to stay on the safe side of things. Well, he didn't see a reason to let McLeach fall out of his good graces as he thought the deal over. "That would be within reason for me as well. A minor spat I can easily cover up but if you tangle with Maleficent herself..." he told him before holding his breath and letting it out slowly in a sigh as he looked up before drawing his own next card showing the hunter against Maleficent. "Let's just agree to avoid such a future... and instead..." he continued as he turned the card upside down now revealing the two of them shaking hands as he took his hand with his free hand. "I think this will be a lucrative deal for the both of us... in the long term of course."

He was fairly intrigued at how the cards just happen to show himself and the others in their pictures. Probably another magic thing, he decided in his mind. "So," he started, letting go of the handshake after a quick moment, "until things start to get moving, is there anything you'd suggest I do while we wait?"

Dr Facilier took his hand back as he folded the cards back into one deck before moving the deck out of sight again as he smiled at McLeach thinking on a logical next step.
"I think there are still enough beings here that are intruiging to say the least. Perhaps it's best you also scout out the other big wigs and get in their good graces."
His suggestion was much more so that McLeach wouldn't work himself against Maleficent and Hades for now. It was important to Facilier that the relation with his fellow rulers would go well and that not a slight crack would appear. He would have to eventually inform Maleficent of his own plans but that could come when there were more alliances forged between the people here.

"A bit of recon," McLeach stated, understanding. "Sounds good enough for now. I'll admit, I've only met Mr. Candy Man...which, I can see, you've also met."
He gestured towards the voodoo doll Facilier's shadow had put on the shelf. "Don't blame you if you don't trust him, though," he continued, standing from his seat. "Seems to be a bit of a pompous airhead that can be easily distracted."
He began to walk off. "Whelp, I'm off. I'll find out what I can about everyone and stay quiet about our talk."
As he reached the door, he paused for a second to quickly turn around, walking back a few steps. "Oh! Say...you wouldn't happen to have a map of this castle on hand, would ya? Still a bit lost walkin' around and it wouldn't hurt to get familiar with the place. Plus, if it's helpful, I could possibly mark down where everyone's spending their time while they're here."

"Helping those in need is my specialty." Facilier told him as he quickly duck under his table. He was seething inwardly at McLeach having seen the doll of King Candy but figured it wasn't going to hurt. So far, he seemed competent enough to understand that running his mouth to the giant bug thing wasn't going to do him favors. And if push come to shove he would need to deal with him too.
Though it didn't seem that would be likely the case if he kept playing it friendly. The hunter was a useful asset to him. At least better than several others.
"Here we go." he proclaimed as he came up once again and held a piece of paper before spreading his own dust onto it and blowing on it revealing it now as a map of the castle.
"It might still be incomplete but it will at least be helpful to see where you have been already."

McLeach calmly took the map as a look of satisfaction. "Magnificent," he muttered, still loudly enough for Facilier to hear. "This should work perfectly."
He gently rolled the map up into one hand and used the other to tip his hat to Facilier. "Much obliged with the assist, Doc," he mentioned. "So, whenever the time comes where you need that assistance, you can count on good ol' Percival C. McLeach to get your back."
With that, McLeach turned around to walk out the door. As he put one foot out, though, he turned around real quick and added, "Oh, and sorry for not knockin' when I came in. I'll remember that next time."
And, with that, he stepped out of the door, closing it behind him. As he walked away from the room, he took another look at the map in the hallway to see how it worked.
((If there's anything extra magical about this map, I'll let you describe it. If not, then that's that.))

(OOC: No, it's just a regular map now. I don't think I got the juices now to start making a map into a potential death trap XD)

Having exited the Caverns, Scar was back at the castle as he was looking around the entire area.
Soon, he would see a closed door as he had shrugged, and decided to attempt to knock, even though he is in fact still a Lion.
He figured that hed see what this room would have, unaware of that he'd be meeting one of the Five.

Facilier sat up as he had been busy on working on percising the location of Grimhilde before he put his artifacts away and ordered his shadow to open the door for who ever was behind it as he sat up from his chair and smiled not expecting a lion of all things to be behind the door.
"..." he had no real words as he watched the lion from the other side of the door as he just tried to slowly get back from the shock as he straightened his jacket.
"Ah, well... this ought to be interesting..."

"Same could be said to you. You're quite the unique looking individual." Scar admitted as he never expected to meet anyone like him due to him not having ever been to the city, especially since he came from the wild.

"I had never had the pleasure to meet a wild animal..." he told him as he narrowed his eyes slightly seeing he was right away distrustful at the lion but he kept himself calm and collected to keep that from slipping out.
"But seeing as you got here, did you drop in for a spell or was it mere curiosity that drew you here?"

"A bit of both honestly." Scar admitted as he distrusted Facilier, but like him, didnt show it as he was soon entering the room, curious of what he had in store.

"Really?" he asked curiously what a lion of all things could want. Did animals even want things? He never thought about it but it would make sense why that firefly would have worked against him.
"Then do tell, what can I and my Friends do for one such as you?" he asked curiously as he smiled beckoning the lion to come closer.

"Its a bit simple in your taste. I wish to reclaim my crown that I worked hard in stealing. I killed my brother in order to rule, but some time passed and my nephew dethroned me." Scar told him as he had explained a bit of his own backstory to him.

"Royalty hm?" he asked seeing a bit of familiarity. It was always some down on his luck royal and this lion seemed no different from the rest. But it intrigued him that lions had some form of royalty bloodline and that he seemed to be part of it as well.
"Well, I have had my share of dealing with that. I'm a royal myself even from my mother's side." he told him with a grin as he took out one shrunken head and dangled it in front of the lion as if to show that he had no real good thing to say about them.
"Though I believe you yourself lived long enough on the margin to become king yourself."
