"Of course. For now, we will play along. Afterall, we animals must stick together. However, we cannot underestimate our other compatriots." Scar explained as he considered all forms of outcomes due to his tactical prowess when it comes to leadership and alliances.
However, he wished to rule first and foremost. However, due to him being a Lion not many people would actively seek a alliance with him. That being said, he knew how to manipulate a person when needed to.

"Indeed," Ratigan agreed, speaking in a lower tone, as to not attract attention: "After all, it will be thanks to the humans, that we achieve most of our victories. I don't care to admit it, but most of them are exceptionally more powerful than us. And I wouldn't be surprised, if some of them are planing their own alliances, as we speak. We must act carefully, not attracting attention and only striking when absolutely necessary. We don't want, to end up back in the underworld, do we?"

"I certainly wouldn't." Scar spoke in the same tone as Ratigan as he had no intentions to being killed yet again especially when he had plans to retake the Pridelands.

Ratigan nodded knowingly. He had been given a second chance, and did not intend to squander it. "Then it's settle," Ratigan responded, after making sure no one was listening in, other than himself & Scar. "For now, we bide our time, playing the loyal members. But, when the time is right and power is in our hands, we shall rise up and claim what is rightfully ours! To the victors, goes to spoils!!!"

"Divide and Conquer some say. And we will do both." Scar made his comment with a sly grin as he knew it was wise to be loyal for now as he had no intentions to lose his life right away.

This made Scar grin as he had little reason to doubt the rat, but he knew that even he would likely betray him eventually as he was much like him.

"Of course, we will need a few more allies, to add to our ranks. Just a few helping hands, in case things get bloody. And to even out, the numbers so to speak." Ratigan continued, as he pondered over potential allies. However, despite so many villains gathered here, there weren't many that came to mind. Mozenrath, despite being on good terms with him, seemed to be loyal to Hades. Trying to recruit the Right Hand Man of the God of the Dead, would no doubt be disastrous. King Candy was quite powerful, and could potentially be easily manipulated to their cause, though seemed a bit too air headed and foolhardy for Ratigan's liking. Then there was Negaduck, an animal much like them, and certainly just as ruthless and savage, though he doubted the duck would take orders from them.
His best bet, could be Varian. He would be useful, with his alchemy and intelligent, he had struck a good friendship with the boy and if pushed the right way, could be made to agree to their terms. Though, Ratigan was a bit unsure wether to approach him. The boy seemed to be on good terms with Mozenrath, who would no doubt notice any suspicious behavior and having been betrayed once, he didn't know wether the boy would want to side, with a pair of traitors. It would take a while for them, to properly build a suitable alliance.

Scar pondered on the possibilities as he knew that the wait would be long, but he's waited for longer in order to murder his own brother for the crown.

(OOC: Okay, so honestly, I don't really know where to go from here. Should we have them split up, to go look for potential allies, or should we just have Scar go leave, while Ratigan stays in his keep, for someone else to show up.)

"I'm afraid I must be off for now, I have yet to fully explore this place." The lion told his new ally as he was soon getting up and heading to a different room.

"Of course, I too have yet to fully explore the residents myself. Do tell men, if you find anything interesting to our cause. Until the next time!" Ratigan said, as he watched the lion walk away.
Once the lion was out of hearing, Ratigan grinned to himself, as he laughed as his lucky fortunate. "What good luck! The perfect ally, walks right into my hands. Now, all I need is a few more "friends" at my side, and it won't be long, before I have the world at my hands once again!"
Of course, Ratigan was no fool. He knew that once all was said and done, Scar was sure to turn on him, in order to save his skin. Ratigan was all to familiar, with the art of stabbing in the back. He had partaken in it, quite a few times himself. And this would be no different. He would have to play his cards carefully, look for potential, vital developments in Scars plans, in order to stay ahead of his "partner." And if Scar, decided to turn to him and make some fabrication, that it was Ratigan's idea behind the alliance, he would simply turn that around. It was Scar's plan really. He had forced the poor defense less mouse along, on threat of eating him. He had only agreed, in order to defeat Scar from the inside. After all, who would they believe? The savage carnivore or the sophisticated gentlemen? Oh yes, it would take some time, but things were looking food for Ratigan.
